Love and Peace for Ukraine QAL - FINISHING

Hello Quilters!

I can't even believe how fast these last few weeks has gone! Wow! This week is the last week of the QAL and we are adding the sashing and borders. And that's a wrap!!

We begin by working on the sashing and borders, Then we will talk about binding and I will also make a label for my first quilt!

After I prepared my label, I pressed the seams under 1/4", appliqued it to my quilt, and then added a little running stitch of pearl cotton around the edges to reinforce it.

I will choose two winners from all the quilt top finishes I see online. I will collect the names and randomly choose two winners.

• Finish your quilt top.
• Take a photo

I will choose the winners June 1st, so you have a week and a half to get the top together! The winners will be contacted through social media or email by the end of that same week and posted here.

Here is a photo of my top complete! Now to quilt, bind and label!

Xena has taken her supervisor role to a new level... she likes to be up close and personal... making sure I got my label on straight! I sure hope the recipient isn't allergic to cats!
